Italian Sliders
Italian Sliders
Ingredients:
– 12 rolls, halved lengthwise (Kings Hawaiian rolls are recommended)
– 6 oz of thinly sliced ham
– 5 oz of thinly sliced salami
– 5 oz of thinly sliced pepperoni
– 9 slices of provolone cheese
– 1/3 cup of sliced pepperoncini
– 1/3 cup of sliced pickled hot cherry peppers
– 1/4 cup of melted salted butter
– 1 tsp of Italian seasoning
– 2 cloves of crushed garlic (fresh is preferred over jarred)
To Serve: (optional)
– 1 cup of marinara sauce
Instructions:
Begin by preheating the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place the bottom halves of the rolls on a baking sheet or pan. Start layering with slices of ham, followed by salami, pepperoni, and provolone cheese. Next, add the sliced hot cherry peppers and pepperoncini. Finally, place the top halves of the rolls back on and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with Italian seasoning and crushed garlic until well combined. Brush this seasoned butter mixture generously over the top of the sliders, ensuring all areas are coated.
Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Once removed from the oven, slice the sliders and enjoy.
