Garlic Butter Baked Scallops

Ingredients:
1 pound large scallops, thoroughly dried
4 tablespoons melted butter
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges (for garnish)

Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:

Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Garlic Butter:

In a small mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Assemble the Scallops:

Arrange the scallops in a single layer within a baking dish. Drizzle the garlic butter mixture over the scallops, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Add the Topping:

In a separate small bowl, blend the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley. Evenly distribute this mixture over the scallops.

Bake:

Place the scallops in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the scallops become opaque and the breadcrumb topping turns a golden brown.

Serve:

Serve the baked scallops immediately, accompanied by lemon wedges on the side.
