Chocolate Cobbler recipe

Ingredients:
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 2 tsp baking powder
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 7 tbsp cocoa powder, divided
– 3/4 cup sugar
– 1/2 cup milk
– 1/3 cup melted butter
– 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
– 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
– 1 1/4 cups hot water

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Mix the dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
3. Add wet ingredients: Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
4. Pour into pan: Spread the mixture into a greased 9×9 baking dish.
5. Add topping: In another bowl, mix the brown sugar and remaining 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter.
6. Pour hot water: Slowly pour hot water over the top without stirring.
7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the center is set but still gooey at the bottom.
8. Serve warm: Scoop and serve the cobbler while it’s warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
