MARRY ME CHICKEN PASTA RECIPE:

Chicken:
1.5 lbs boneless chicken thighs, cut 1 inch pieces
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp fresh cracked pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp oregano
4 tbsp olive oil, divided

10 oz pasta of choice, I used treccioni
2 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
1 clove minced garlic
1 tsp tomato paste
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups chicken broth
2 oz cream cheese
1 cup Parmesan, fresh grated, more for topping
3/4 cup sun dried tomatoes
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
Parsley for garnish

Start off by seasoning your bite sized chicken pieces with salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, oregano and 2 tbsp olive oil.

Prepare pasta according to package. To prevent pasta from sticking toss it with a little olive oil after you drain it.

Add 2 tbsp oil to a pan over medium high heat and cook chicken until cooked through, approximately 7-8 minutes. Remove from pan.

In the same pan add butter and once melted add in garlic, cooking one minute before adding flour and stir with a wooden spatula or whisk. Add in the broth slowly while stirring. Next add in heavy cream. Next add in softened cream cheese and tomato paste. Once fully incorporated add in salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder & Parmesan. Add in sun dried tomatoes. Add pasta and chicken back to sauce. Garnish with parsley and more cheese if desired. Enjoy!
