KUNG PAO CHICKEN RECIPE
🌶️ KUNG PAO CHICKEN RECIPE:
Meat & marinade:
1 lb chicken thighs, cut in bite sized pieces
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sherry wine
Sauce:
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp chili flakes
4 cloves garlic
3 green onions cut in 2 inch pieces
6 dried chilis
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
1/3 cup chopped peanuts
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Mix meat well with marinade.
Make the sauce. Put aside.
Over medium high heat add oil and cook chilis and peppers approximately 1-2 minutes. Add in chicken and cook until mostly cooked, about 4 minutes, stirring often.
Add in garlic and cook one minute before adding in sauce and cooking another 2-3 minutes. Add in green onions and chopped peanuts. Serve with rice or noodles. Enjoy!
