Garlic Butter Steak Bites Accompanied by Creamy Parmesan Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Steak Bites:
1 pound sirloin steak, diced into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
For the Creamy Parmesan Sauce:
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
Season the Steak: In a mixing bowl, season the steak pieces with salt and pepper. Allow them to rest for approximately 10 minutes to enhance the flavor absorption.
Cook the Steak Bites: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the steak pieces in a single layer, ensuring the pan is not overcrowded. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are browned and reach your preferred level of doneness. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set them aside.
Prepare the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the butter. Once it has melted, incorporate the minced garlic and thyme (if desired). Sauté for about 1 minute until the mixture is fragrant, taking care not to burn the garlic.
Create the Creamy Parmesan Sauce: Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and mix it with the garlic butter. Allow it to come to a gentle simmer. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and garlic powder, stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce achieves a creamy consistency. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
Combine and Serve: Return the steak bites to the skillet and gently toss them in the creamy Parmesan sauce. Heat for an additional 2-3 minutes to warm through.
Garnish and Enjoy: Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley. Savor your delicious steak bites paired with the creamy sauce!
