Classic Ribeye Steak Accompanied by French Onions and French Fries

Ingredients:
For the Ribeye Steak:

2 ribeye steaks (approximately 1 inch thick)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon butter
Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs (optional for garnish)

For the French Onions:

2 large onions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper, to taste

For the French Fries:

4 medium russet potatoes, sliced into thin fries
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions:
1. Prepare the French Fries:

Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Combine the sliced potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Arrange the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they achieve a golden and crispy texture. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley.

2. Prepare the French Onions:

In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
Add the sliced onions, ensuring they are well-coated in the oil.
Sprinkle with sugar and cook, stirring occasionally, for approximately 20-25 minutes until the onions become caramelized and tender.
Incorporate the balsamic vinegar and season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine and continue cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the vinegar to reduce and the onions to fully caramelize.

3. Cook the Ribeye Steaks:

Preheat a cast-iron skillet or grill to medium-high heat.
Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil and season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Place the steaks on the skillet or grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting the time if a different doneness is preferred.
In the final minute of cooking, add butter to the pan, allowing it to melt over the steaks. Baste the steaks with the melted butter for enhanced flavor. Remove the steaks from heat and allow them to rest for a few minutes.

4. Assemble the Feast:
