INGREDIENTS
3 cups all-purpose flour
185g butter, at room temperature
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
METHOD
*In a large mixing bowl, sift the flour and salt together, then combine and set aside.
*In a separate bowl, cream the butter and icing sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
*Incorporate the egg and continue to beat for approximately 3 minutes.
*Add the milk and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
*Gradually incorporate the flour mixture into the butter mixture, ensuring it is thoroughly mixed.
*Transfer the batter into piping bags fitted with various nozzles.
*Pipe the batter onto a greased and lined baking tray.
*Refrigerate the tray for 30 minutes to ensure the cookies maintain their shape during baking.
*Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until they are golden brown.
