Creamy Chicken Rice Casserole
Ingredients:
– 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
– 2 cups cooked rice
– 1 can cream of chicken soup
– 1 cup sour cream
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/2 cup chicken broth
– 1/2 cup diced onion
– 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, rice, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, chicken broth, diced onion, diced bell pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
4. In a small bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture over the top of the casserole.
5. Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
7. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
