Ingredients:
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 small onion, diced
– 1 small green bell pepper, diced
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 cup beef broth
– 2 tablespoons ketchup
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
– 4 hamburger buns
Instructions:
1. Cook the beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess fat.
2. Sauté the veggies: Add the diced onions and green bell peppers to the skillet with the beef. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
3. Add sauce: Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and ketchup. Add the beef broth and bring the mixture to a simmer.
4. Thicken: In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of water, then add it to the skillet. Cook until the mixture thickens.
