Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients:
– 4 large green bell peppers, halved and seeds removed
– 1 lb steak (ribeye or your choice), thinly sliced
– 1 large onion, sliced
– 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
– 1 cup provolone cheese or cheese of your choice, shredded
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven:Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook Steak Filling: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
3. Sauté Veggies: In the same skillet, add the onions and mushrooms. Sauté until softened and caramelized. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Combine Steak and Veggies: Add the steak back to the skillet with the onions and mushrooms. Stir to combine.
5. Stuff Peppers: Place the bell pepper halves in a# baking dish. Fill each pepper with the steak and veggie mixture.
6. Top with Cheese: Sprinkle shredded provolone cheese on top of each stuffed pepper.
7. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted.
8. Serve: Remove from the oven and serve warm.
