Equipment:
– Slow Cooker (5-quart or larger)

Ingredients:
– 25 oz. frozen ravioli (5 cheese) – DO NOT THAW
– 1 lb. ground beef (or mild sausage)
– 1 cup white onion, diced
– 1/2 tsp. salt
– 1/4 tsp. pepper
– 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp. dried leaf oregano (not ground)
– 24 oz. marinara sauce (such as Rao’s)
– 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese (2 cups)

Instructions:
1. Brown the meat: In a skillet, cook the ground beef (or sausage) over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add onion and seasoning: Add the diced onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano to the skillet. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the onion is softened.
3. Layer in the slow cooker: Spread a small amount of marinara sauce on the bottom of the slow cooker. Add half of the frozen ravioli, then half of the meat mixture, and half of the remaining marinara sauce. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, meat, and sauce.
4. Top with cheese: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the top.
5. Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Serve: Spoon into bowls and enjoy a comforting, cheesy dish!
