Sausage Muffins with Bisquick
Ingredients:
– 1 pound breakfast sausage (mild, spicy, or your preferred variety)
– 2 cups Bisquick mix
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/2 cup milk
– 2 eggs
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven:Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a muffin tin.
2. Cook Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease and set aside to cool slightly.
3. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the Bisquick mix, shredded cheese, milk, and eggs. Stir in the cooked sausage until well combined.
4. Fill Muffin Tin: Spoon the mixture into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
5. Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Cool and Serve: Let the muffins cool for a few minutes in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack. Serve warm.
These muffins can be easily stored in an airtight container and reheated for a quick breakfast!
