Baked Hamburger and Pasta Casserole
This Hamburger Casserole is the epitome of comfort food. Tender pasta shells are cooked to al dente and mixed with flavorful ground beef, then smothered with a blend of melted cheddar and mozzarella cheese. This one-dish wonder is perfect for busy weeknights when you want a quick and satisfying meal that everyone will love.
Ingredients:
1 (1lb) box medium pasta shells
1lb ground beef
2 (10oz) cans tomato soup
2 cups shredded cheddar
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup water
garlic, salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add garlic, salt, and pepper (or any seasoning of your choice) to taste.
Stir in the tomato soup, water, and half of the shredded cheese. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir until well combined.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve immediately and store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
