Salisbury Steak with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Mushroom & Onion Gravy

Ingredients:
For the Salisbury Steak:
1 pound ground beef
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Garlic Mashed Potatoes:
4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
For the Mushroom & Onion Gravy:
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions:
For the steak, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook patties on both sides until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
For the potatoes, boil them until tender. Mash with garlic, milk, and butter.
For the gravy, in the same skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms. Sprinkle flour and slowly add beef broth, stirring constantly until thickened.
Return the steaks to the skillet with the gravy and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Serve the Salisbury steak with garlic mashed potatoes and mushroom & onion gravy.
